In addition to the Air Flow cover Mother-ease also offer an extraordinary Aplix (similar to Velco) fastening cover. The hook and loop fasteners are of the highest quality and covered on the inside by a small skirt to prevent the leakage so common to other wraps. This cover is made from soft brushed polyester coated with polyurethane (PUL) which is highly waterproof yet breathable for baby’s comfort.

The cover comes in a range of gorgeous colours and prints. The Rikki Cover fits snugly over the Sandy’s or One-size nappies. It can also be used effectively with prefolds, muslin squares and contoured fitted nappies. It is so easy to use. Gusseted leg openings ensure a snug fit. The elastic edges are covered with a superior nylon binding which helps prevent moisture from wicking onto baby’s clothes.

The Extra-Small Rikki cover is specially designed for the smaller (e.g. premmie or newborn) baby. It fits perfectly over the Extra-Small Sandy’s for a beautiful, leak-proof fit. It can also be used to hold folded muslin or prefold squares on a newborn without the need for pins.

The Rikki cover is designed to be used with any of Mother-ease’s One-size nappies or Sandy’s nappies to create a highly breathable, leakproof nappy system.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of PUL fabric, these covers will not remain waterproof indefinitely. With proper care, most parents find that a cover used full-time (ie. washed every second day) will last around 4-6 months. That is around the time one child would be expected to be in any particular size. Unfortunately, Mother-ease cannot provide replacements under warranty for covers that have been used for some months and then begin to fail.
